So the last month we've done lots of things, however, we're still trying to get used to having a camera and remembering to take pictures. So here is a random smattering of what we've been up to.
I woke up at 6 for my early class and didn't want to wake up Taylor by turning on the light. Unfortunately, I was sitting in my class when I realized I had put on two DIFFERENT boots. GAH!
My cousin, Courtney, recently moved back to Rexburg with her husband and we've had a blast together. So we wanted to have a little fun. hee hee for V-Day we made these risque, love cookies for our hubbies. So fun to frost while chatting and listening to Michael Buble :) P.S. they were SO yummy!!!!
Taylor's brothers, Jared and Spencer and Jared's recent FIANCE, Morgan, came to visit for Valentines Day weekend and it was lots of fun! I wish we'd gotten more pictures...but we kept forgetting to whip out the camera. So here's what we did get pictures of!
After a full day of work, Jared, Spencer and Morgan drove 12+ hours through the night to get here. So it's no wonder that they slept in Saturday morning :) :)
While they slept in the living room, the rested Emily and Taylor played games in their room! It was fun because we had celery and peanut butter while we played SET. Never played? You should! SET is a game that actually makes you SMARTER! We love playing it for FHE. So fun!
Later that evening we had a junk food party while we watched a movie. Of course there was ice cream and then Spencer bought the most random candy--which turned out to be pretty popular. :)
Clearance licorice, old-school Sixlets and Mambas.
Another night we all played Phase-10, which is probably the best $5 ever spent. Hours of laughs.
The next weekend, we drove down to Utah to see Jess and Jordan and Lauren and Braden--I CAN'T BELIEVE WE DIDN'T GET PICTURES WITH EITHER OF THEM!!!!!!!! It was a whirl-wind Saturday because we drove down at 6 am and drove home, in a blizzard, the same night. It was amazing to see my dearest friends and catch up!! Taylor and I are that much more excited to move down to Provo next winter. So many good firends down there! Also while we were down there we stopped at IKEA and finally got a bookcase! I have wanted one since we first got married and we finally splurged and got one. Taylor build it as soon as we got home and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!!!
The next week I got sick with the horrible, no-good, yucky flu. I was so sick I couldn't work for a week and Taylor took care of me like true champ. I knew I married an amazing man, but to be treated so incredibly well and to be loved so much in my ugliest hour proved that I married the BEST man. I'm a lucky girl. That-is-for-sure.
We've also been hanging out with our darling little cousin Emma's "Flat Emma". It's a school project she is doing and we are so happy she asked us to help out! We've been taking Flat Emma around with us for a couple weeks and she helped Taylor take care of me. She's also helped with a few other things like....
helping Taylor cook an artichoke....
YUM!!!!
And helping me study for a math exam!!!
We've had a great month and feel so blessed to be here in Rexburg (despite the weather). It's a great phase of our lives and we are loving every minute of it!!!!

utah mini trip
We spent the three day break in beautifu
l Utah with Taylor's good friends Jordan and Gavin and their great ladies--Erin and Natalie! It was a great escape to stay in the Woodward's beautiful home and enjo
y an escape from the chilly burg with great friends!
Five of us drove down together where we met up with Gavin's girl, Natalie.
First order of business in Utah? Scrounge 6 Jazz tickets. How much did we get them for? $10 each! Woot Woot! The Jazz smooshed the Cleveland Cavs to a pulp. I don't remember the final score but there was a big gap between the scores. GO JAZZ!
We found a neat Asian Gifts store that was quite entertaining! The boys LOVED all the freaky looking weapons....
Erin, Em and Nat <3
All of us including the Woodward's darling daughters Keeli and Kapri. It was fun to spend time with little kids :)
Temple Square was a Sunday must. We had fun taking lots of pictures around the temple.

the big 2! 2!
New Year! New goal? BLOG! First post? Taylor's 22nd Birthday!
Taylor's favorite dessert is warm brownies with cold ice cream and toppings so instead of a cake we had brownies and a party with the "clan". It was a blast--especially to play Catch Phrase, which I've added to my list of wants--I love, love, love games!!
4 batches of brownies!! Waaaaaaay too many.
Love you tons Taylor!!! Happy Birthday!
